Dr. Katherine Witmeyer is excited to bring Impact Vision Care Optometry to life. In 2009, Dr. Witmeyer decided it was time to be “her own boss”, opening up a brand-new full-service optometry practice in beautiful Bressi Ranch/Carlsbad. For 14 years, Dr. Witmeyer grew that practice to be the premier optometry practice in the Carlsbad area. In November 2022, she sold Carlsbad Optometry, and now she is ready to start something new.
In 2025, Impact Vision Care Optometry was launched for Dr. Witmeyer to continue providing the outstanding and personalized care that she is well-known for to all of her patients. Instead of spending countless hours working through the ever-changing, maze-like insurance world, Impact Vision Care Optometry is able to focus on delivering customized, high-quality care by removing the barriers between doctors and their patients through its Direct Patient Care model. We believe that caring begins by taking the time to listen to the needs and concerns of our patients. We believe that your eye and vision care should not be dictated by the restrictions that many insurance companies place on in-network optometrists. Our goal is to never rush any exam and to ensure that all your questions have been thoroughly answered.
At Impact Vision Care Optometry, we are committed to providing exceptional, personalized eye care for every patient. With advanced technology, compassionate expertise, and a focus on unique vision needs, we ensure your eyes receive the highest level of care.
